After losing three family members and a close friend of her Mother’s in just a short 6 weeks time, My 14-year-old Granddaughter is, now a year later, just beginning to actually grieve. She has a lisp and gets bullied about it from her peers. Recently, she started running away from home, self-mutilating and threatening suicide. Her Mother and Adoptive father immediately sought counseling, medication and relocated her to another school. Behavior is escalating, and constant med changes keep the entire family in an uproar. Her biological father is currently in prison where he tends to repeat his stays because of drug addiction. She is an honor-roll student, cheerleader, and all around wonderful person. My question is: What do you think would be the best plan of action moving forward?
